Concrete statues will last indefinetly in exposed locations however they must be handled with care when moving and placing them. Thin sections can crack or break with impact. 

Only quality paint finishes are used on painted items, for best results statues should be cleaned with a soft cloth and soapy water and rinsed off with clean water. Raw concrete can simply be hosed off.
